Sarah Harding and her ex boyfriend could both face charges over New Year fight

So, all was looking fairly promising for Sarah Harding at the end of last year - she'd emerged from rehab, allegedly spent the night of her 30th birthday alone in a hotel room, before heading to the UK countryside to make like Lily Allen with her new non-showbiz-y man friend (above). Then it all went spectacularly tits up over the weekend.

Sarah Harding speaks about rehab, says she was a 'mess'

As everyone else slumps alongside their Beroccas, milk thistle tables and salt and vinegar Discos, Sarah Harding has revealed that she's now been four weeks sober, which seems fairly impressive since she's not only had the Christmas run-up in that time but also her 30th birthday...Talking to Hello!, she explained:

"The day I left for rehab, I was in such a mess. I’ve been told by those close to me that was when I hit my worst.

"I was crying hysterically. I felt ashamed, embarrassed, terrified – my emotions were all over the place."

The Girls Aloud reunion that's definitely happening in 2012 is a bit like life

In the papers today, Kimberley “Princess Fiona” Walsh is reported as saying:

“Would I be OK if the reunion didn't happen? I could in terms of my career as I don't think we have anything to prove, but I'd be gutted from a personal point of view as I love performing in the band, that's why we're doing something next year - we never intended to stop for good.”

“Doing something next year”, she says. Well that’s nice.

Do you hear that Sarah Harding? Do you hear those screams from your brave ancestors, all imploring you to face up to your problems instead of allegedly going to rehab? Well maybe you should listen harder. Splitting up from your fiancee? How about having your guts torn open by barbed wire, as Nazi* bullets rip through your battle brothers, each one pitifully crying out for their mothers one last time before the dark cloak of oblivion envelops them on some nameless field** in Flanders?

London Fashion Week SS 2012: Sarah Harding models at Westfield, Eastenders Mandy watches

We're excited about Nicola Stapleton's return to the soap, even though we don't watch it and stuff. Considering Walford's probably where Harding will end up (we'd put money on it), it's nice that she was there to lend support, along with the one from the Pussycats Dolls who seems to have relocated to the UK and Dionne Bromfield, who actually looked nice and professional on the runway. Aw - she's all grow'd up

More to the point, a Westfield in Stratford? Now there might actually be a reason to go near all that Olympic stuff.

Sarah Harding and Tom Crane call off engagement after large bust up

The good thing about Harding is that the news of her (possible) break-up won't be followed with endless reports about the 'sad lonely Girls Aloud star' starving herself at home with only her mum, dogs and possibly Will.I.Am for company - she'll just go out and get smashed. Atta girl.

Talking to The Sun about the (possible) break-up, a source said:

"Sarah and Tom had a huge bust-up and told each other the wedding is off. Although they've always managed to patch things up in the past, it's worse than anything they've gone through before.

Now, clothes aside, Ms Palermo is at the forefront of a big trend this week - it was announced that 'Olivia' is the most popular girls name this year. We think it's unlikely that all those babies will grow up to wear clothes for a living (she's in DKNY above), but it's nice to have a stylish namesake role model (thanks Gemma Atkinson Arterton!).

Hooray Henry

Three fifths of Girls Aloud do Horrid Henry premiere, Nadine and Cheryl washing hair

Apparently Kimberley Walsh has a small part as Prissy Polly in it, hence herself and her two band-mates being on the red carpet - they know what support means (actually, Nicole Roberts doesn't with that shoelace dress). Having appeared in St Trinian's 2 herself, Sarah Harding must've acted as some kind of mentor to Walsh. We thought she'd been busy keeping the bars of Ibiza in the black, but she's actually been working on her television career - see her CV here.
