The week in fashion: HM style round-up, 10 February 2012

As we've mentioned before, we're not entirely sure what Diane Kruger does other than making us jealous by going out with Pacey Witter and having amazing clothes. She's very good at both vocations, so that's fair enough. We love this 10 Crosby by Derek Lam dress with overlay. Also, it's nice to see a wrist watch, isn't it? Don't let them die out, people - it's your duty.

Also showing some leg, we have Kate Winslet in a classic LBD, Michelle Williams in a Victoria by Victoria Beckham, Rooney Mara and Alexa Chung in Louis Vuitton and Shailene Woodley in Phillip Lim.

Golden Camera Awards 2012: Scarlett Johansson wins prize, didn't release film in 2011

Maybe Germany had a different release schedule, but we've just looked at Johansson's CV and it seems that her last film (Iron Man 2) came out in 2010, then her next one (We Bought A Zoo) is set for next month, so we're not really sure why she won the Best Actress prize, but we're sure she deserves it. Meanwhile, Denzel Washington got the Best Actor gong. We guess the Germans must've really liked Unstoppable (AKA No Brakes on a Train), since that's all he did last year.

Update: Scarlett Johansson not dating Dan White from Tribes, "never met" him

Earlier this week, a source told the Sunday Mirror that Scarlett and Dan White from Tribes have "been seeing each other for a good few weeks" after there was an "instant connection", adding that the actress was "into the band's music".

Scarlett Johansson apparently dating a guy from Camden band Tribes, nice for him

Not to be confused with Bruce Parry from Tribe or one of the child crusties from C5 show Tribe, Dan White is from band Tribes, who've previously hit the heady heights of supporting The Kooks and Kaiser Chiefs.

Rooney's pretty much owned the week - and we think she deserves it after having to spend much of the year either naked or looking angry in combats. But just because the actress has softened her style now, it doesn't mean she's chucked Lisbeth to the curb entirely - she recently admitted that literary heroine gave her a taste for androgyny, which definitely shows. Probably just as well since she has another two sequels left to film... Too bad for her real life sister Kate Mara who looked more like The Girl With The Bad Dress at the New York prem.

A zoo is for life, not just Christmas

We bought a Zoo premiere, with Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson, who bought hairspray

Directed by Cameron Crowe, We Bought A Zoo is based on the real life story of a father who moved his young family to the Southern California countryside to renovate and re-open a struggling zoo, later realising that all he needed to do was pop Scarlett Johansson in a cage with some bamboo canes. Honestly, if anyone was going to succeed at running a zoo, it was gonna be Matt Damon - he's a mathematic genius with the ability to kill the enemy with one punch and an immunity from the plague. We'll tell you what his zoo needs though, War Horse, that's what.
