Susan Boyle wants tent for Christmas so she can go to T in the Park, sounds legit

For celebrities things are different. Once you get recognised at pubs other than your local it's definitely time to start asking for unusual things. Things like a thought projector, a heavily tattooed pig that chain smokes Pall Mall or an iPad made entirely of teeth.

On the other hand, if you're Susan Boyle, you combine the mundane with the insane and just ask for the first six things that come into your head:

"I'd like a tent to take with me to T in the Park and I'd also like the Downton Abbey box set, because it's one of my favourite series.

Susan Boyle appeals for love, please give whatever you can spare

It's not just any appeal though, it's an appeal for love. The love of a good man. This totally altruistic idea came to us after the singer recently spoke to The Sun (makes a change from bags of sand and other inanimate objects) about her need for a man who is willing to give her the special injection of love that she so craves:

'We all like the idea of sharing our lives with someone who is going to protect and look after us. I'm on my own quite a lot and that special person hasn't come along yet.

Susan Boyle: The Musical plans unveiled, even lonely cat ladies say 'too far'

We have no idea who asked for it, why anyone would ask for it, or most importantly, who's going to go and watch it, but our hearts certainly go out to the writers. We reckon anyone who can string out Susan Boyle's 15 minutes of fame into an hour and a half of music and dancing deserves a solid pat on the back and a good old-fashioned kick in the goolies.

Still, Susan seems excited about it, although we've seen her laugh at a bag of builder's sand before.

Susan Boyle has waxwork unveiled in Blackpool, still no answer as to why

Which is why we're genuinely mystified as to the following pictures. If anyone that you know or know of has ever, ever shown even the slightest interest in seeing a Susan Boyle waxwork then please do write in and tell us. We don't want to name and shame them, it's just curiosity. Honest.

Anyway, in an interview with The Sun recently, SuBo had this to say about her legacy:

'The Beatles are still around now, their records live on. I hope to be in the same calibre one day.

'I know I've got a lot to do yet though. I'd like to meet Paul. If he ever wanted to perform together, I'd have no problem with it - here I am, baby!'
