Does anyone really give a shit about Taylor Swift? Didn't think so. Not in this country anyway - apart from one or two 12-year-old girls. But apparently she's quite big news in America.

What the... how the... WHY? Who knew people cared so much about country music? Despite her clean-cut and professional image, she did manage to become embroiled in controversy at 2009's MTV VMAs thanks to a certain Kanye West, who thought it'd be nice to steal Taylor's microphone and tell everyone she didn't deserve the award. To be fair, she's won enough awards already - proved at this year's Grammys where she won four awards and, while attempting to pose with them all, dropped one and smashed it to pieces.
