She has presented the past eight series of Strictly Come Dancing alongside the walking prune that is Bruce Forsyth developing an immunity to his unfunny jokes and ageing charm. After years of watching from the side line, she slid on her dancing shoes and competed against Terry Wogan, for Children in Need, winning despite support from his die hard TOGs. She is also known for being the ball and chain of fellow television presenter Vernon Kay. She's the mother of his two children.
