Tom Cruise born to be in musicals says Rock of Ages co-star

Rock of Ages, as far as we can make out, is a romcom musical set amidst the 1980s L.A. rock scene, and features various big hair classics from the era. It doesn’t sound like our sort of thing.

But according to his co-star, Julianne Hough, Tom Cruise is a right old screamer.

"Oh, he's fantastic," Hough told MTV. "If I remember correctly, I hear his ... grandparents or something were opera singers, so he has this tone and this pitch that is incredible.

Incidentally, who does Tom Cruise's hair? It just seems like it must take absolutely ages to get each strand looking so perky and bendy. Also, have you noticed that out of the whole of Hollywood, his hair has probably changed the least out of any major star? Fascinating, eh?

Also, if you notice, in Spain the film is called Mission: Impossible - Protocolo Fantasma BMW*, which we think sounds much better than the original English name and should probably be what it's called everywhere. It also sounds a bit like a bottom examination, but a very exciting one.

Duchess of Alba, eh? According to Wikipedia -The Lazy Journalist's Bible™ she's a descendant of King James II and holds the world record for most aristocratic titles. What a great record to have. Plus, she's one of the only people who doesn't have to kneel before the Pope. Amazing.

Poor old Barrymore, she got on the drugs, got off the drugs, emancipated her parents, had a lesbian affair, did Playboy, brushed her teeth and made several millions. And for what? To be told that she's officially the most overpaid actor in Hollywood. Seems a bit unfair. If people want to give Drew money for performing badly, why shouldn't she take it? Lohan will probably end up doing the same down on Sunset and no one will care about that.
