Victoria Beckham does the cover of i-D, world briefly forgets about her husband's pants

Talking of Lana Del Ray, you may have seen her on the front cover of UK Vogue... She looks nice in Louis Vuitton, although we felt a bit sorry for the lovely Gemma Arterton, whose shoot got shunted to the back of the issue, despite her being infinitely hotter/funnier. i-D magazine have a much more diplomatic (and costly) approach, sharing the March cover out amongst nine stars. Don't fancy VB? How about Lara Stone, Stella Tennant or a bunch of other winkers?

Now, obviously we take our investigative journalism very seriously at Holy Moly, so after reading the Daily Mail's article, we decided to Google 'Joanne Beckham's birthday' - and look what came up; THIS story from The Sun reporting that it was the girl's 25th birthday in March 2007. We're confused.

Victoria Beckham named Top Gear Woman Of The Year

We thought the only bonnet Victoria Beckham has been under was her Downton Abbey tribute hat, but apparently she's actually designed a car, which is a bit weird because we assumed you needed an engineering degree to do that. She was recruited as Creative Design Executive on a special edition of the Range Rover Evoque model, overseeing the look and design - a bit like when Homer Simpson created a new motor for his long lost brother we imagine.

West Hollywood bans the sale of fur, hooray

According to reports, a spokesman from organisation Fur Free West Hollywood reckons Monday night's 3-1 City Council vote was the final step in banning sales of clothing made from the skin or pelt of animals with hair, wool or fur.

Good old West Hollywood has banned declawing pets, while the entire state of California doesn't allow the sale of reptile skin.

Is it a coincidence that this has happened at the same time that Victoria Beckham is moving away from Los Angeles? Hmmm...

Talking to WWD about being a working mum, Beckham explained:

"There are quite a few video conferences at 5 a.m. with me in my dressing gown, holding baby. For me it's no different than it is for a lot of women out there. It's like juggling glass balls. I love it."

We're pretty sure David said sex with Victoria was like juggling glass balls before she got her boob implants taken out.

Anyway, we've pixelated VB and the baby, not because of anything to do with privacy, but just because we're a bit tired of looking at them.

Marc Jacobs' Dakota Fanning ad banned, wasn't as good as Victoria Beckham one anyway

After receiving several complaints about the campaign shot, the UK Advertising Standards Agency decided the shot (picture 2 above) was ‘too suggestive’ and ordered it be pulled, saying:

"[The] length of her dress, her leg and the position of the perfume bottle drew attention to her sexuality. Because of that, along with her appearance, we considered the ad could be seen to sexualise a child.”

And it now turns out that, as well as being quite nice, Posh’s dresses are quite the financial sensation, with sales topping £15million in the first three months of the current financial year, and a forecast £60million of sales if they continue to, well, get bought. Which they probably will because despite Posh’s slightly cheesy fashion past, she has proven with her line of beautifully tailored, feminine cuts that she has a good eye for what works, and also the star power to pull in a great team of designers.

Victoria Beckham can have her 'five handfuls of edamame beans a day diet' - whatever makes her happy (fyi, we suspect it doesn't), although we do object to her making up blatant food lies and peddling them to the public...

Taking to Twitter, she wrote:

"Real, fruit sorbet.....freeze single, red grapes, put in small zip lock bags, eat fresh from the freezer x VB."
