He started out pretty much playing himself in Fresh Prince of Bel Air and then decided to leave acting to pursue his career as a rapper. He met Jazzy Jeff at a party and the two hit it off after Will lit a fart into someone's face who didn't like his music. The lyrics to his songs often have traces of tongue in cheek humour and don't moan on about how hard life is when you've grown up poor. Today he is more commonly seen as a film star, as most of his films are huge box office blowouts and being the father of scarily talented children, Jaden and Willow.
