It's the AFI awards, which was hosted by the American Film Institute rather than that emo band that sung 'Miss Murder' a few years back. Can you imagine Helen Mirren, Samuel L Jackson and Clint Eastwood going to a party with those guys? No. Us neither. But it is a funny thought.

Samuel L and his contemporaries were out in their silly glasses and dickie bows to honour Morgan Freeman, who won a Lifetime Achievement award, which we personally think has been long overdue since the release of March of the Penguins a few years back. Congratulations Morgan, for the award, the cinch with Gisele and the bravery to wear a little gold hoop earring even though it makes you look like P Diddy's grandad.
