He has admitted that the antics of Katie Price drove him all the way to the brink of suicide - a location she drives us to almost every week. So don't worry, Alex, you're not alone. We've been there too, and we're with you every step of the way.

Fortunately for the rest of us, Alex realised that Katie Price was just 'NOT WERF IT!', and he still remains to tell the tale.

And tell the tale he did, pouring his shattered heart out to the News Of The World this weekend. It may surprise you - it surprised us - but the Alex Reid is actually quite intelligent, and uses some big words, like 'unadulterated' and 'the'.

He described his suicidal woes to the tabloid:

"I've gone through unadulterated rage then the depths of despair. I became ill. I was depressed.

 

I've had some really dark moments over the last few weeks. I'm a fighter. But this has drained me and taken all my energy and vibrancy.

 

At my lowest I thought it would be easier not to be here."

Trust us, Alex. We are experts on the 'Katie Price making you want to kill yourself' issue. Week after week she comes back with a new man or plastic bodily feature, making us rue her and our own existence. But then we remember that we are human, and she is not, and it makes us feel all better again. You should give it a shot.
