Peter Andre is planning his second date since, er, Chantelle Hayes and is hoping to woo 'X Factor' winner Alexandra Burke by cooking her a romantic dinner at a secret location (his house?) this weekend...

And the 36-year-old has spent an entire week researching recipes (one way to kill time) to win over 21-year-old Burke. Eggy pasta? Failing that, beans on toast?

A source is saying that Pete has been saying:

"I think she's really cool. She's seriously hot and once I've cooked for her, she won't be able to resist."

*Loses lunch not yet eaten*

The pair first met on the Paul O'Grady Show when Andre stood in for O'Grady to interview her, and they later exchanged numbers.

The source continued:

"Pete and Alex definitely have the hots for each other and things are gathering pace between them.

 

"Pete is finally beginning to feel like the time is right to start dating again. He was knocked sideways when he was chatting to Alex on TV last week. He loved her personality and thought she was seriously hot."

Another source is claiming that it was Alex who made the first move, claiming the singer complimented Andre's recently released album, which sold 45 copies worldwide (or something), adding:

"Alex was the one who broke the ice first. She was really complimentary about Pete's album."
