Call off the search party! Take Scotland Yard off your speedial! The former missing Sugababe Amelle Berrabah, whose family had contacted the police fearing she had been kidnapped, has finally been found safe and sound reportedly 'locked away' in her north London home (i.e in her house with the door shut)...

The skinny one from Sugababes reportedly went missing after a fight with fellow Sugababe Keisha Buchanan (passed out in pic 2) and failed to turn up for performances with the band and refused to accept calls from her management.

Surely she could have been found if they'd searched properly propped up in the bar of Whisky Mist/Movida/Mahiki/Embassy/the local chip shop down the road etc...

A source said:

"She still loves the band and the last thing she wants to do is quit. But the problem needs to be addressed because she feels she is being bullied."

"Keisha will just have digs at her throughout the day and it has been going on for months. It has got worse since Amelle had the Tinchy Stryder single and featured big-time in the Get Sexy video. Keisha is very dominating while Amelle is quite placid."

Amelle has had what you could describe as a turbulent few years... She nearly suffered a breakdown when her sister Samiya accused her then "traveller boyfriend" (The Sun) Freddie Fuller of rape. Then in January last year, Amelle was accused on suspicion of causing criminal damage to a car in Aldershot before being released.

Once that had blown over, her now ex-boyfriend nearly suffered the loss of his arm when he was attacked with a machete outside a pub. After that Amelle was arrested for allegedly assaulting 18-year-old girl in a club before being released again without charge.

Perhaps she could benefit from some time off...

EDIT: Amelle Berrabah has just tweeted "I'm not bloody missing." So there you have it.

  • That would be something to see, as Mel died in 1990.

  • At least one of them had the sense to escape from Atomic Kitten while the going was good before she married a drug-dealing taxi driver with a penchant for pink rabbits, got barred from iceland and lost all her money, so perhaps she isn't all that thick.

  • I look at the Sugababes and can only see three chavs with no education, no class, limited social abilities, pikey backgrounds and dodgy boyfriends. Give them an Asbo not another record deal !
