In news that we never saw coming (apart from last week after rumours of bullying, fighting and kidnapping) Amelle Berrabah has 'sensationally' quit the Sugababes… 

At the end of last week it was being claimed that Amelle had vanished into thin air (was actually just at home) and that her parents had feared she'd been kidnapped. And looking at the 25-year-old's er, troubled past, frankly anything is possible with this one...

(She nearly suffered a breakdown when her sister Samiya accused her now ex "traveller boyfriend" Freddie Fuller of rape. Then in January last year, Amelle was accused on suspicion of causing criminal damage to a car in Aldershot before being released.Once that had blown over, the ex nearly suffered the loss of his arm when he was attacked with a machete outside a pub. After that Amelle was arrested for allegedly assaulting 18-year-old girl in a club before being released again without charge. Phew.)

But there had also been reports that original Sugababe and founding member Keisha Buchanan had bullied Amelle out of the band, something she so vehemently denied that she left a few posts on Twitter. Keisha had 'tweeted':

"And with the current line up, I can honestly say that we all get along! I'm sure we bug each other at times...but I love them girls. And there has NEVER been bullying in Sugababes EVER."

 

Well whatever, the reason let us prepare for replacement number 12 (we've lost count) and welcome the new rumoured Sugababe and Eurovision entry form last year, Jade Ewen...
