Apparently the vast amount of time she spent in the Caribbean at the end of last year, combined with a disastrous comeback gig in Dubai has made Amy Winehouse all broody and marriage-y.

That's right, the heavy drinking mother of zero has decided to get hitched to the love of her life, Reg Traviss. Reg also loves her very much, despite her various flaws, and has decided that he wants the whole world to know (via The People):

Amy and I have been talking about getting married, we are looking to book something very soon.

 

I am thinking of getting something sorted in the next six weeks for the end of the year.

 

I love Amy very much, she's a wonderful, talented, lovely girl.

Isn't that wonderful news? Plus, as far as we remember, the educational rhyme we use to remind us of how relationships work (oh, if we could just touch another human, *tear* ) goes:

First comes love,: then comes marriage,: then comes baby in a golden carriage

Which means, before you know it we should have a whole load of little Winehouse-Traviss' running around London, sleeping with the Tweedy kids, vomiting on Auntie Kerry's wine-soaked carpet*, and pretending to work behind the bar of The Hawley. Yay!
