It's being claimed that Winehouse, who is performing as a backing singer to goddaughter Dionne Bromfield (who is signed to her own record label), checked into a London clinic at the beginning of last week.

So we're not entirely sure how she's going to perform so soon after the operation (although she's probably performed near death quite a few times) and producers of the programme are concerned she may not show up, having missed rehearsals because of the procedure. Management are also worried she may suffer an infection if she goes up on stage. And no-one wants to see that.

A source said:

"We all feared she'd fallen off the wagon when she came in. Then we saw her bouncing around with these huge boobs which stand out as she's so tiny and skinny."

Winehouse's breasts have reportedly gone from a 32B to a 32D.
A patient added:
"She started rambling and said, 'I've had a boob job. I 'ad 'em done for Strictly. I wanted to look my best and I'm sick of stuffing hankies down my bra'.
"It was hilarious. I didn't even know she was going on the show - but the way she was when I saw her she was struggling to string a sentence together.
"I'll be amazed if she can sing on TV. She seemed in a hell of a state - completely out of it."
