According to reports possibly fabricated to boost ratings of Strictly Come Dancing now that it's on at the same time as X Factor, Amy Winehouse has spent £35,000 on breast implants ahead of her appearance on the BBC1 show tonight...

It's being claimed that Winehouse, who is performing as a backing singer to goddaughter Dionne Bromfield (who is signed to her own record label), checked into a London clinic at the beginning of last week.

So we're not entirely sure how she's going to perform so soon after the operation (although she's probably performed near death quite a few times) and producers of the programme are concerned she may not show up, having missed rehearsals because of the procedure. Management are also worried she may suffer an infection if she goes up on stage. And no-one wants to see that.

A source said:

"She looks amazing, like a new woman. Amy told us she wanted a new look - it's all part of her fresh start for her big comeback.

 

"We all feared she'd fallen off the wagon when she came in. Then we saw her bouncing around with these huge boobs which stand out as she's so tiny and skinny."
