Alexa Chung's eyes were bigger than her stomach as she left Brixton Academy, where the Arctic Monkeys had been playing their new album, Humbug, with her Monkey boyfriend Alex Turner...

Guests included Natalie Imbruglia, John Paul Jones, Henry Hoolland, Zane Lowe and his boyfriend, Katie Downes, Remi Nicole and Josh Hommes - who produced some of the tracks on their new album.

Bassist Nick O'Malley said:

"It was very motivational, because you think, 'It's Josh Homme. I don't want him to know how terrible I am, so I have to up my game slightly.' He made you want to be better on your instrument, so you didn't upset him."

Turner added:

"I'd say what you've got there is James Ford, a bit of a Ghostbuster, ex Dreadlock, and Josh who takes a bit of a Bill Sykes approach to it. The way Bill Sykes would approach eating an apple like with a dagger Josh is like that with the task."

It's good to see Jo Whiley made an effort (pic 10)...

Hello - problem was that there were no pics of Grohl or Josh Homme to put up...Not with the agency we use anyway. Sorry about that. No idea what the Zane Lowe thing is on about though!

Arctic Monkeys made a splash way too long ago to be interesting any more, Alexa Chung seems to be Mr HM's wank-fantasy #2 - so watch out for endless shite on this minge - and the mere fucking mention of Jo Whiley makes me retch... hang on .... *projectile vomits profusely*....
