Former Big Brother contestant Nadia Almada was rushed to hospital on Wednesday after taking an overdose of 'prescription drugs and painkillers'

Almada was found slumped on the floor of her council house by a friend, before being taken to hospital where she was kept in overnight for observation. Apparently the 33 year old Portuguese transsexual was feeling suicidal after being booed by the crowd during her eviction from the Big Brother house last week.

She has broken off all contact since returning home and is refusing to speak to Big Brother representatives, despite repeated attempts.

We also spoke to her grumpy-arse PR, who said 'there is no comment at the moment'.

Far be it for us to criticise if this is genuine, but you can't help but feel there's something fishy about it.
