Which hugely famous British celebrity couple are about to give up the fight and split up?

The girl has finally worked out he's more of a hinderance than a help in every way.

While I like the suggestion of Kerry Kantona, I think Cheryl Cole is the right guess. Ashley didn't get much public sympathy for cheating on her and now SHE is more famous/a bigger celebrity than he is. 'The girl' may well refer to Girls Aloud. Too bad many naive young girls will look up to her as they do Vicky Beckham.
