Talking to the Daily Mail about the Eurovision bid without a trace of irony, Lee Ryan moaned:

"We would have liked our country to get behind us but that seems to be too much to ask."

Meanwhile, Duncan continued:

Jedward [the Irish entry] are a great gimmicky act, but Eurovision's gone beyond gimmicks."

And Antony Costa added:

"For us it is just great promotion - a way of showing European fans that Blue are back.

"[If we don't win] we're emigrating."
