Members of Boyzone arrived in Majorca last night following the death of Stephen Gately over the weekend. New reports today suggest that Gately, who was 33, may have choked on his vomit after a night of drinking with a friend and his husband in his apartment near Port d'Anratx, Palma...

Gately, who had been out to gay bar with husband Andy Cowles before meeting with a friend Giorgi Duchev to continue drinking at his flat, was reportedly found in a "strange prayer posistion", squatting on the floor with his head face down on the sofa after passing out at around 5.30a.m.

Cowles discovered Gately around midday and desperately tried to revive him. Although his death is not being treated as suspicious, police are currently trying to track down Duchev.

A source said:

"We do not believe there is foul play but his testimony is vital."

Fellow Boyzone band mates, Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch all arrived in Majorca last night. A spokesperson said that Keating was "totally devastated". As was Louis Walsh, who pulled out of last night's X Factor.

How can it be that an inoffensive and innocuous chap like this buys the farm so young, yet cunts the likes of Price, Geldof, Ga Ga et. al. continue to draw breath?
