Yesterday the Daily Mail ran a story about a parasite gnawing at someone's eyeball - and we're afraid to report that the bug appears to have spread to the paper's showbiz team who today have described Britney Spears as looking "perfection" in the above set of pics : /

What's going on with Britney's hair? She shaved it all off years ago but it appears to have only grown a couple of inches (the real stuff not the synthetic thatch). What does this mean? Are the clippers coming out on a regular basis in private? We smell dad Jamie, who was last heard revealing that he keeps his daughter on bra-watch.

And talking of messes, Britney is in the new issue of Pop magazine hinting that she might do a collaboration with Lady Gaga. They'll probably, like, snog on camera and stuff because Gaga's just desperate to do anything Madonna's done, tonguing Brit and all.
