Cam's bits

Cameron Diaz and Colin Firth are starring in a new film together, which could mean we have another The King's Speech/There's Something About Mary on our hands. Or perhaps a St Trinian's 2/The Box...

Well, to narrow things down, it's a 'romantic caper' :((( However, the script has been written by the Coen brothers, so that's promising, right? Even if Diaz is dressed as Meg Mathews.

A remake of Shirley MacLaine and Michael Caine's Gambit, the director is The Last Station's Michael Hoffman and here's the official synopsis:

Colin Firth plays British art curator Harry Deane, who devises a finely-crafted scheme to con England’s richest man and avid art collector, Lionel Shabandar, (Rickman) into purchasing a fake Monet painting. In order to bait his buyer, he recruits a Texas rodeo queen (Diaz) to cross the pond and pose as a woman whose grandfather liberated the painting at the end of WWII.

Could be a double strike for Diaz after this promising trailer was released last week - go on, you can do it - let us forget Knight And Day (oh, we had already).

  • Fucking 'ell. The only response is: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz And I hope Colin Firth's remembered to padlock his cock to keep it safe from Cameron.
