Fresh from getting his own tribute act in the form of Galliano, Mel Gibson has taken his show to Cannes where he's promoting Jodie Foster's much discussed beaver, which is, of course, a new flick directed by his pal which follows the story of a man who communicates through the use of a hand puppet. Speaking of which, Quincy Jones has his own puppet and it's about to chuck something at someone...

While we're still on the subject of toothy whiskery creatures at Cannes though, Ivana Trump was also in tow, accompanied by Massimo Gargia, who appeared to be dressed as a Quality Street. Also in the house we have the equally synthetic and taut looking Lady Victoria Hervey, not to be confused with Harvey Weinstein who was there dressed up as the toad who got kissed by a hot princess yet remained unchanged. Still, at least there's an explanation for his attendance. 

Elsewhere Bar Rafaeli stunned in a navy blue Cavalli gown, whilst recent ex Leo DiCaprio lurked nearby contemplating his switch to Blake Lively, and the Black Eyed Peas performed musical monstrosity medley The Time while Apple App and Taboo wore matching jackets, aw.

Also, Matt Bellamy might prefer to not look at this picture of his future mum in-law, for some reason.

FYI, apparently Foster's Beaver got a bit of a luke warm reception...
