In news that is sure to shock even the most cold hearted of us (i.e. most of the Holy Moly readership) Crimewatch star Rav Wilding has announced that he has split up with seasoned reality tv contestant Chantelle Houghton. 

Poor old Chantelle has had a pretty rough time of it recently, and although her relationship with Rav seemed to be blossoming a mere six months ago, it looks like this delicate little flower has had her heart broken again. Despite our insistence that it couldn't work, the couple bravely soldiered on, followed only half-heartedly by a notoriously tenacious paparazzi, who we suspect quite wanted Chantelle to finally find happiness, just like us.

Still, it wasn't to be, and Rav posted this up on the relationship counselling service otherwise known as Twitter:

'Wanted to clarify situation after speculation 2day,'

 

'Sadly Chantelle & I are no longer in a relationship as I've had to draw a line under it. 'It's been a really difficult week and a lot has gone on, & I appreciate everyone's kind words.'

 

'The relationship wasn't what I wanted so badly and wasn't the genuine thing I thought it was,'

 

'It's so upsetting as I genuinely & truly loved Chantelle, but the publicity side isn't always reflective of the truth..

Not entirely sure what he was expecting, but alas, he didn't find it. Most importantly of all though, we hope this doesn't affect his crime solving skills, or Chantelle's search for a better, safer world for all bunny rabbits.
