Cheryl Cole was so excited about hitting the No.1 spot yesterday that she allowed a fan to kiss her on the lips as she left the X Factor studios last night. Unfortunately, it wasn't Tanya MacIntosh as she was too busy trying to cop a feel of Simon Cowell...

Cheryl sold 293,846 copies of 'Fight For This Love' which has become the fastest selling single of the year so far, ahead of Alexandra Burke's 'Bad Boys' which sold 187,100 in its first week.

Cheryl said:

"I'm just getting over the fact I have recorded my solo record and now it's number one. I can't take this all in. It's hard for me to put into words how I feel. I have this permanent smile on my face."

Meanwhile, X Factor contestants where seen leaving their house earlier this morning minus Miss Frank, who were voted out last night, for rehearsals as they come to terms with John and Edward surviving another week after performing this...
