Lost Boys actor Corey Haim has been found dead aged 38 in his LA home, police have just confirmed.

The 38-year-old who had had a well documented struggle with drug addiction - confessing that he entered rehab in 2000 after taking 85 valium pills daily - was reportedly taken to St. Joseph's hospital in Burbank, although medics confirmed that he was dead when they arrived at the apartment he shared with his mother.

No statement has been made yet, but this is very sad news.

The actor will no doubt be remembered as one half of 'The Two Coreys' after starring in 80s flick Lost Boys with namesake Feldman and later teaming up again to make a reality show, but he was also attached to Victoria Beckham at one point - both him and Posh confessed to have been on a series of dates in the early Spice Girl days (no sex, just kissing).

It seems that lots of celebrities today have drug related problems. The sad thing is that some of them don't even manage to follow a Drug Rehab Treatment because they overdose and die. What role models are such celebrities for our youngsters?

I think some people have misunderstood him there. He was not addicted and it was revealed later that he took those drugs after being prescribed. It was an accident actually. Narconon

He should have tried a forever recovery program, it could have saved his life. The saddest part of this story is that he did report the overdose, which shows he wanted to live still and get better, but simply couldn't without help.

Drug overdoses can involve people of any age. It is most common in very young children (from crawling age to about 5 years) and among teenagers to those in their mid-30s. According to the leading rehab centers like Narconon, people respond differently to a drug overdose. Treatment is tailored to the individual's needs. Some people may be more sensitive to certain medications so that the high end of the therapeutic range of a drug may be toxic for them. I think same case happened here, so sad.

Why does something like this have to happen?! Why didn't he go to a Christian based recovery? How many more good artists and rich people must die ? They have to see that money ain't nothing! Doesn't mean anything, we earn money to live, not live to earn money..When we are dead we don't take anything with us. God loves us with money or no money. We are his creations, live, but live with virtue.
