To maintain his 'hard-man' image, Danny Dyer often comes out with controversial comments, slagging other people off. But if there's one thing Danny Dyer can't slag people off for, it's acting.

Despite his incompetence in the profession, the world's greatest cock cockney still felt he had the right to criticise Kelly Brook for her acting talent. Dyer has been cast alongside Brook in the horror movie Hotel Caledonia, but has admitted that he is not excited at the prospect of working with the model. In an interview with the Daily Star, the 'actor' said:

"She can't act so I'm certainly not looking forward to working with her. She doesn't do it for me and she never has done."

No doubt she's itching to work alongside him, though. Especially after the handsome hunk was so complimentary on her looks:

"She's okay looking, she's all right. But I wouldn't call her that f**king fit. She honestly does nothing for me."

Yeah, she's alright. Nothing special.

However, Danny went on to tell the heartbreaking news that Hotel Caledonia may not even be made after all. Apparently the producers are having trouble raising funds for the project. Unsurprising, considering how much it must cost to the secure the talent of two sought-after actors such as Danny Dyer and Kelly Brook. But also a real shame, considering the wonderful character Dyer was going to be playing:

"My role in it is brilliant. I've got a part as a serial killer and I strip women's skin from their bodies."

How delightful. Perhaps you should just stick to chasing aliens from now on, eh Dan?

Danny Dyer may try too hard to be a bit of a geezer but the man's got a point. Gene Kelly Brook can't act and, looks-wise, she ain't all that. Having said that if Dyer does go for the jugular, he needs to do so from a position of authority. And 'starring' as a skin-stripper in Hotel Caledonia (?) is no-one's idea of a authoritative, apart from Vinnie "Gissa Job" Jones.

The thing is I don't think anyone is under any illusions that Kelly Brook is being hired for her "acting skills" which quite frankly make Denise Van Outen look like Dame Judy Dench, no the simple fact is that she is a recognisable dolly bird who'll help drum up some trade. Dyer on the other hand considers himself somewhat of acting talent producing what he might like to think of as genuine, gritty portrayals of disaffected male youth characters when in fact what he does is stick on a fred perry polo shit and say the word cunt (pronounced caant) repeatedly.

Having said all that I still like him because "Danny Dyers Deadliest Men" is easily one of the funniest things on telly.

Having said that, he does have a point about La Brook. She's not exactly Stephen Hawking nor Meryl Streep, and a cracking pair of tits isn't exactly a substitute for lack of synapses or thespian quality
