David was taking part in Mitch Winehouse's new show on Living TV "Mitch Winehouse's Showbiz Rants" - which involves Mitch driving celebrities round in his taxi talking about celebrity.

"The problem that I've experienced in my own life and some of the stuff that's been documented about Amy is a universal problem. It's an illness. You don't wake up in the morning and decide to have this problem."

David was sent to rehab last month after punching a doctor while smashed out of his tits on booze. His spokespeople denied it had anything to do with drink at he time.

Mitch has his own fears too - Mitch talked about fears of skinny vampires preying on Amy. There are just too many gags there aren't there.

We interviewed Mitch on Friday (I'll stick it up this week). It did not go too well. One thing we now know is that he does not like talking about Blake Fielder-Civil very much at all :(
