You know that story about David Hasselhoff ending up in hospital after going on another big booze bender?

Well, according to Dave, he wasn't pissed at all! It was all ear medication to blame...

The Hoff maintains that he wasn't pissed off his face. The combination of medication for an ear infection reacted badly with the drugs he was taking to prevent him drinking again - apparently it's all the rage with alcoholics - and it sent him doolally, or, as the Hoff's people put it, "upset his equilibrium."

Oh dear. We've come up with better stuff when we've fancied a few days off work...

Poor old Hoff. Stay off the sauce! It's doing you now good.
