Alexa Chung was busy making the miniscule Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen look fat at the Elle Style Awards last night, where she picked up an award for Most Emaciated Woman In The World, just after Nicola Roberts...

Kylie Minogue was awarded for most Botoxed Face, with Claire Danes as runner-up and Princess Tiaamii, who sadly couldn't make it, picked up Best Hair and Make-up.

The rest of the awards were dependant on the Sunday's BAFTA results and who was free to attend the ceremony and accept an award. But still Pixie Geldof won nothing.

  • What does Elle mean by 'style'?
    There's no-one stylish here. Lots of self-conscious people standing round pigeon-toed but certainly no style. Carey Mulligan with her lamb bone legs and a quilted jacket. In mauvey-blue. Is that style? I'd best retire to the Twilight Home for the Elderly because I must be getting old.

  • there's something disturbing about looking into the similar faces of the olsen twins. like one of those motion capture films, the characteristics of both women are distinctly human yet there is something not quite right when you look into the eyes. something absent. like a soul.

    nicola roberts just makes the fists itch.
