Another gripping Friday night in front of the telly - we just hope that Juliet's fate isn't as terrible as Alex Reid's... Yep, it's the launch of the Lost's final series on Sky One tonight...

Unless you've downloaded it already been in America this week, tonight's the big night where Lostites find out if Locke's, like, totally dead, Jacob's up the shit creek, Jin gets reunited with his tonic, Richard has retouched his eyeliner, Faraday can be brought back to life with a voice above a whisper and Juliet MAKES IT OUT THE HOLE!!

Frankly, we don't care what happens to Freckles and Jack (both actors have claimed that they're giving the screen up post-Lost, mercy), but series creator JJ Abrams has got more loose ends than a Hawaiian skirt to tie-up over the next 18 hours (with ad breaks). Want to see what all the fuss is about but can't be arsed with catching up on the first 90 hours? Here's a ten minute recap courtesy of the Reduced Shakespeare Company...

FYI, John Terry is in the show playing Jack's dad Christian, whose body might have been manifested by Jacob. Amazing how he gets around...

It was fairly entertaining for the first two series, then I just gave up on trying to work out what was happening because it was a bit like looking for hidden messages in an Aphex Twin video after copious amounts of psychadelic mushrooms.

Stopped watching it in season 2. Think I'll just wait for it to finish and then download the dvds and watch it all in a week.

I know, but I've watched every episode so far based on the premise that series 1 & 2 were interesting and I've gone thus far and it would paradoxically have been a waste of time to have watched them and not watch the final series. See? If I could go back to 1973 though, I'd spend my time telling a small and presumably uninterested two year old not to bother.....
