Frankie Boyle is kind of like the opposite of HM, he's a celebrity abusing anonymous poor people. We'd take the metaphor even further in line with the disability angle, but it's difficult to type when you've got massive swollen sausage fingers and a face like a clumsy beekeeper. Not that we use our faces to type. Much.

Anyway, as we're sure you know, ol' Frankie has been hammering away at anything weaker than him on his new comedy show, Tramadol nights. He's had a go at Katie Price's disabled son, at rape, at child abuse, and of course that old chestnut, racism. And far be it for us to judge, but he actually seemed quite good at it. 

Unfortunately for Frankie, not everyone appreciated his jokes, and even worse, some of those enormously ungrateful people also happened to be in the top echelons of The British Comedy Awards panel. What this means for Frank is that not only has he not been nominated for any of the awards, but he's not even allowed to present one. Poor bastard.

According to a source (via The Mirror):

“Frankie thought he would be one of the stars of the show because it was being screened on Channel 4 and he was looking forward to presenting a gong.

 

“He got a shock when he realised he wasn’t involved in the show and would just have been sat at a table along with TV execs and dozens of other comics. He can’t win anything either.

 

“It is a reality check for Frankie and a sign he is no longer a top priority for Channel 4 because of all the problems with his show Tramadol Nights. He didn’t like it one bit.

 

“He threw his toys out the pram and told bosses he had no intention of going to the awards – which won’t go down well either.”

Worst of all even Sir Terry Wogan, originally from a British principality himself, said Boyle was too much:

“Frankie Boyle is too strong for me. Ricky Gervais walks the tightrope.
