Your Highness, it's back up again

It's Friday again. Which means the weekend starts...tomorrow, as was so painstakingly pointed out by 13 year old pop sensation Rebecca Black. This means we've just got enough time to pop up these trailers before you all leave to go to the pub/home/back to your cell. This week we've got (as you may have guessed from the headline) the action/adventure Aliens and Cowboys, medieval drama Anonymous, the intense horror of Stake Land and the hopefully funny Your Highness.

First up, Aliens and Cowboys. Not sure whether you've seen any of the trailers for this film so far, but it was certainly looking a lot better in the initial stages than it does now, although it still looks pretty good. Basically it's Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig fighting aliens in the wild west in order to get Olivia Wilde to take her clothes off, as far as we can see. Looks exciting.

Next up is Stake Land, a film about a post-apocalyptic America, overrun by vampires, in which the protagonist and his young assistant seem to to their best to kill as many as possible/survive/find an old library to get naked in. These vampires are of the 28 Days Later/I Am Legend mould, meaning it was a virus what did it, rather than simply blaming Romanian gypsies. Looks pretty intense and about as unlike Twilight  as you can get.

Anonymous deals with the burning issue of whether Shakespeare wrote his plays or whether someone else did. Classic pub chat. Either way, there's knifing and fighting and nakedness in the trailer so it can't be all bad, plus it's got Derek Jacobi in. I Claudius and all that.

Finally, it's a film we've been looking forward to for quite a while. Your Highness is a medieval comedy with James Franco, Natalie Portman, Zooey Deschanel and Danny McBride in, it contains swearing, toilet jokes and lots of nakedness, which is all that our tiny minds here could ever want. Watch the trailer and see what you think...
