George Michael has been let out of his minimum security prison cell after serving just four weeks of his eight week long drug-driving sentence. Despite the vast number of homophobic jokes that were made at his expense while he was inside (prison) George has managed to come through the experience relatively unscathed and actually quite jovial. Unfortunately this means he's now going to spend most of his time preaching about the dangers of drugs to anyone who'll listen, possibly via the medium of song and dance. A bit like Lady Gaga, but less implicit.

Speaking to the press outside his chauffeured Range Rover, Georgious Popalazarouzious explained how he sees his new life continuing:

"You're going to be seeing a lot more from me, I'm not going to be running away from you guys any more."

And just in case you were worried:

"Oh, by the way, I've just thought of a really good song. It's gonna be nothing to do with prison."

Wonderful.

In other stunning news it turns out the other George-based pop prisoner, Boy George, sent Georgious a get well soon message while he was doing hard time (in prison): 

“I’ve written to him. I send him my love and I understand exactly what he’s going through. When I heard the news, it really brought it all back to me. I was actually quite sad because I really was hoping that it wouldn’t happen. Hopefully he’ll come through it stronger.”

That's nice isn't it? Couldn't have happened to two nicer lads.
