George Michael says he deserved prison, uses the word 'karma'

Thinking about getting his head down. Apparently.

George Michael is now on the road to recovery from his truly life threatening marijuana addiction, taking his first, tentative steps towards salvation. He's already accepted he has a problem (well, crashing his car into Snappy Snaps completely stoned kind of helped him with that) and has now said that he deserved to go to prison as a punishment. Good boy, George.

So anyway, here's what he said to the BBC about his recent stint in cell block g:

"I was assured I wasn't going to prison but I thought I was, and it was much easier to take because I felt it was deserved. This was a hugely shameful thing to have done repeatedly so karmically I felt like I had a bill to pay. I went to prison, I paid my bill.

"Remarkably enough, I know people must think it was a really horrific experience [but] it's so much easier to take any form of punishment if you believe you actually deserve it, and I did."

"I'm George Michael and the poster boy for cannabis".

"It wasn't a weekend break, put it that way. I didn't feel sorry for myself. I thought, 'Oh my God, this place is absolutely filthy'. I just thought, 'you get your head down'."

COME ON. HOW CAN YOU NOT EXPECT US TO MAKE JOKES WHEN YOU FINISH WITH THAT?

George, you surely are a rascal and a scamp and a drug using rogue. Things can only get better.

He's playing to the gallery. He knows full well he's still on the 'erb. If he hadn't been caught out, would he have given himself over to the babylon (dem)? I doubt it.

I wonder if George is a world-class lightweight on skunk (unlikely) or if he's scoring his weed from the guy that sold "Gunjy '65" to Richard Prior ?

I thought "Ooooh, this place is filthy". Well. Lmao. Yeah. Ever so sorry, George, but you can't purchase dusters in prison, or any Mr Muscle. If he keeps singing about himself having faith, then he certainly contradicted himself by taking drugs.
