As Summer blockbusters go, it's going to take some beating for anything to topple the final instalment of the Harry Potter saga from the top of the tree isn't it? Can't see musch else beating it. Here's the full length official trailer for your (kid's) viewing pleasure...

What do you reckon? If we pretend that Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe can act it is actually good. If you can't pretend then it is half Hollywood blockbuster and half "Littleover Community College presents Oliver!" isn't it?

  • I'll tell you what, the 'Deathly Hallows' part one was the biggest snore fest I've ever been subjected to in my life. I took my nipper and it was like time was stretching....minutes into decades...every time you were left in the oh-so-awkward and under-energised hands of EW and DR in those INTERMINABLE scenes together and you just prayed and prayed for a baddie to enter to slap one of them and breathe some fucking life into it. Plus that slow-dance in the massive tent???! What??? Awful.
Despite this it took BILLIONS at the box office. They are bloody lucky it came with a bunch of fans from the earlier films and books because no-one would have bothered otherwise.

  • I dunno. These films still seem to work better as bank holiday telly fodder. They're the new Bond. 'member in the olden days when every bank holiday meant James Bond or Digby the Biggest Dog in the World? If you were lucky you might get some Chitty Bang Bang as well as the film (boom! boom!) Well, Potter joins the ranks.
