Another wonderful awards ceremony

As far as we can tell The Hollywood Awards is another almost entirely meaningless Hollywood ceremony whose sole purpose is to give Oscar consolation prizes to any actors/actresses/producers who are willing to pay it. Which is why I'm especially disappointed that I didn't get best supporting actress, breakthrough actor or best original screenplay. Apparently the sight of a crisp new twenty (and a fiver in change) no longer impresses in Tinseltown like it used to.

Remaining barely conscious at this year's ceremony were an entire galaxy of stars, it's like the universe came together for this one single celestial event, etc etc etc. Also, on that note it's worth mentioning that Minnie Driver's head seems to be approaching a singularity, although as you can see from ol' hexagon-face her chin has yet to get anywhere near the event horizon and is still exercising a gravitic pull comparable to that of the moon. Still would though.

The new Spider-Man Andrew Garfield was joined by Carey Mulligan, Helena Bonham Carter, Heather Graham, Halle Berry (chesticles anyone?), Sylvester Stallone and his family, jolly Santa impersonator Zach Galifiniakis, James Franco, Milla Jovovich and a surprisingly cheerful Sean Penn, although his face does looklike it could explode at any moment.

  • If ever they make 'Red Dwarf - The Movie' Minnie Driver is a shoo-in for Kryten.

Props wouldn't need to run up a mask.
