Is Michael Jackson’s friend Mark Lester facing a lawsuit from The Sunday Mirror? Only reason we ask is we've got hold his contract with them and unless he had a brief attack of amnesia, he really should have told them about his pretend daughter. Whoops!

The Sunday Mirror must’ve have thought they’d landed quite a scoop when, before Michael Jackson’s body had even hit the freezer, former child star Mark Lester agreed to speak to them about his ‘lifelong’ friendship with the singer. However, despite a journo spending an entire weekend with Lester at his Chelmsford home – and the paper paying him a fee of £20,000 in a joint agreement with the Mail on Sunday, the climax of the interview ended up being a tale about, erm, a family trip with Jackson to see Rowan Atkinson wearing tights. Gripping stuff.

Our source told us that Lester was:

“Really boring and in so in awe of Michael Jackson that it was difficult to get anything worth writing about.”

No surprise, the paper wasn’t exactly snapping at his heels for a follow up to the snooze-fest. It must’ve been quite a surprise, then, when, just a month later, rival hacks at The News of the World ended up getting a huge exclusive whereby he claimed that he was actually the biological father of Jackson’s daughter Paris…

How the fuck do you forget something like that - if it's true obviously...

Then again, he'd probably remember he was Janet Jackson for another £20,000...his last real paycheque was in 1977 (although, unsurprisingly, the offers now seem to be rolling in).

As you can see from pics 3 & 4 The Sunday Mirror had him a sign a contract stipulating that he ‘must not withhold any information’ about himself.
