As Heidi Klum wins best dressed award for her crow Halloween costume, we give James Gandolfini 2/10 for his effort as a suicidal Homer Simpson. And we don't think much of his son's costume either...

If only these celebrities had more money to spend on their costumes...

Gandolfini took his son trick or treating in New York and he couldn't have looked happier doing it. Unless he stopped scowling. And hadn't cut out the eye holes of his mask so violently. He had to stop half way through to catch his breath back on a fire hydrant and to berate his son.

Also trick and treating in the US inlcuded LaToya Jackson (and friends dressed up as her late brother Michael) who went as Brundlefly, Audrina Partridge, who went as a Cheeky Girl, Christina Aguillera, dressed as Victoria Beckham, Bette Midler, dressed as Courtney Love and Gwen Stefani and her son dressed up as a tin of baked beans...
