STOP PRESS: Debenhams designer and dead animal skin lover Julien MacDonald has just spoken out about the Cheryl Cole X Factor USA axing scandal and apparently it's all a load of 'media blah' - this story included. Thanks for letting us know!

Talking at the Lorraine High Street Fashion Awards (ha) earlier today, MacDonald said:

"Well I was speaking to Cheryl a few days ago, and when I spoke to her from America she was really happy, she was having the time of her life.

"So I think it's a bit of a 'media blah' to get press for The X Factor."

"We love Cheryl Cole, she loves the high street, she loves designer clothes, she mixes it up well, and I think she's a fantastic ambassador for British fashion."

Which is weird since this is what he's alleged to have previously told her (during a row about her style):

"What the f**k are you doing? Who are you trusting and who are you working with? What are you thinking? Look in the mirror."

Not sure if this is what he had in mind... If it is, she knows who to blame.

I don't know who he is, and i am glad for small mercies. I'm starting to feel sorry for Cheryl. She's constantly being "groomed" by everyone around her. Greasy, old men specifically. Of all sexual persuasions.
