Fresh from sacking her manager and allegedly getting herself insured against swine flu for a million (we'd be licking toilet bowls across the UK if we could get away with that), Katherine Jenkins has gone and made a load of school children cry...

According to the News of the World, the opera singer threw a tantrum after a school charity gig, despite the fact she'd been paid thousands to make the appearance.

Set up by her former manager Brian Lane, she was allegedly the only name to accept a fee from St Paul's school in London (undisclosed but rumoured to be up to £10,000) - while Heather Small (M People? She might need the money) performed for free.

A source told the paper:

"This benefit concert resulted in the end of Katherine's relationship with Brian. It's turned very nasty."

"Katherine was very unhappy and made her feelings clear. The argument was over what proportion of the fee went to the school, and what went to her. Brian, who is very passionate about his son's school, had divided loyalties."
