Katie Holmes filming scenes for The Romantic
Gifts that (keep trying to) keep on giving
Thu, 12/11/2009 - 12:33 by Harry BowKatie Holmes was dangerously close to reenacting this old pause-button favourite while filming scenes for a new movie yesterday, but luckily Tom Cruise was on-hand to keep things covered. Phew.
Katie Holmes has got one-step closer to Lindsay Lohan's dream (no, not that one) by starring alongside True Blood's Anna Paquin in upcoming film The Romantics. Luckily the role won't have required much research, what with her being married the world's most controlling romantic man, which is just as well since the movie essentially sounds like a big hybrid of Bride Wars/The Wedding Planner/anything else that Kate Hudson has ever starred in. According to IMDB:
"Seven close friends reunite for the wedding of two of their friends. Problems arise because the bride and the maid of honor have had a long rivalry over the groom."
The casting of Paquin means we'll give it the benefit of the doubt, although we're not so sure about Fergie's husband Josh Duhamel being given the male lead (then again, that guy must be pretty good at acting, right?).

"Joshua David "Josh" Duhamel is an American actor and former fashion model. He first achieved acting success in 1999 as Leo du Pres on ABC's All My Children and later as the chief of security, Danny McCoy, on NBC's Las Vegas. He is also well known for his role as one of the protagonists, Captain William Lennox, in the box office hit Transformers as well as its sequel, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and he is the official pace car driver for the 2009 Indianapolis 500 driving the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Pace Car."
Yeah, it'll be a shit flick
I wonder how much of Holmes' screentime will be cut by GMD, considering he got her sex scenes cut down in Thank You For Smoking. Which, by the way, is quite a good film.
this film isn't finished yet. but i think i can say with some confidence that it'll be getting two thumbs down.
I think any allure this lady may have had dissipated the moment she made out that midget impregnated her. Which is odd because normally I'd be right into that kind of thing.
