I don't know why anyone expected it to end in any other way to be honest.
Katie and Alex had pledged that the wedding was not for the eyes of the public and had turned down million pound offers from magazines for the picture rights. Well, according to her that is. In reality the magazines turned down the deal because the only celebrity to turn up was Danielle Lloyd. Exactly.
So they decided to keep it a private affair and only allow the reality TV crew from ITV2 to film the entire thing.
This wound up the paparazzi waiting outside who decided to cause a rumpus with the security who, ever the diplomats, knocked seven bells of shit out of them.
Keen to keep the event on it's classy high - Katie turned up in a replica A-Team van and got smacked in the face on the way in.
