It seems that Kiefer Sutherland has been on the phone to President Palmer (sorry we haven't watched the last couple of series yet) and got himself off the hook for head-butting designer Jack McCollough at a gala dinner in May.

The 42-year-old '24' star (pictured with his stylist girlfriend Siobhan Bonnouvrier earlier this month) has been let of by the New York District Attorney after kissing and making up in private with the designer in question after the incident where the actor went all Rac C Nesbitt with the poor chap's nose while protecting Brook Shield's honour.
"We declined to prosecute after a full investigation," the D.A. said in a statement.
"And that included speaking to the complaining witness who was quite uncooperative... Therefore, the D.A. declined to prosecute."
It was a lucky escape for the often-thirsty actor who was on parole for a 2007 drink driving conviction, for which he spent 48 days in jail. Back in May, Kiefer appeared on Jimmy Fallon's chat show and was asked:
"Do you think that you're Jack Bauer?"
"Absolutely not, absolutely not," he replied. "I learned that really clearly the first season.
"We can joke about it, I guess," Sutherland added, "but it's something I really regret having happened."
 Fuck knows what he was getting up to in the first season? Full on murderation?
