Corrie star Kym Marsh revealed she is going in the Celebrity Big Brother house next week, then quickly tried to cover her tracks (badly) after a rollocking from the show's producers.

Kym took to her twitter and wrote a fairly uncryptic message which went something along the lines of: "Finished corrie for a couple of weeks, now going to get myself a 'reality' check" - we say something like that because she deleted it straight after and wrote:

"just been told off! Feel like I had been sent to the head masters office!"

Her memory is obviously a bit rubbish though as a few minutes later in replies to fans she said:

"Im not doing anything on new years eve! As I cannot risk having a hang over, as I have a busy couple of days after!"

and

"Lets just say 2010 is going to be a BIG year right from the start! x"

then

"Im only taking a couple of weeks off, You might even see more of me! x"

and if anyone was still uncertain

"Thinks it might be a good thing, I wont be near my phone or laptop for a couple of weeks next month!"

Pretty conclusive we say.

As we revealed ages ago Kym will be joined by Lady Sovereign, Alex Reid (possibly) and Ronnie Wood's ex lunatic Ekaterina Ivanova.
