Lady Gaga is now simply someone that everyone tolerates. There's no longer a mass outburst of incredulity when she puts on a hat made of live squirrels or wears shoes that exist partly in the fifth dimension, it's now more of a 'hmmph' or perhaps even a 'forfuckssake' when she pops out to the shops with a troika poking out of the top of her fishnets.  

Unfortunately, unlike fairies, when we stop paying attention to Lady Gaga she still continues to exist. We'd like to say her most recent foray in the real world is another attempt to court controversy and win back all those people who used to actively dislike her but now don't really care either way, unfortunately we can't.

She's teamed up with hipster favourites Polaroid to release a set of sunglasses that take pictures you can print off, show your friends and then supposedly all laugh at how cool and cutting edge you are, a feature which should make it another runaway hit with East London trustafarian musicians.

The glasses apparently also shoot video, which can then be watched back at a later date on tiny screens in the lenses, something which immediately widens their target market to include both narcoleptics and binge drinkers, or her 'core audience' as they're otherwise known.

Oh, and she wore a veil during the unveiling ceremony. How clever of her, eh?
