Lady GaGa has reportedly been approached to write and perform the next James Bond theme tune (along with Michael Buble) and is, after all, a better bet than Amy Winehouse, whose recording we're still waiting for...

A source said:

"Bond bosses are all huge GaGa fans. Her sound and sense of drama make her the top choice. GaGa has the look as well as the voice to tackle a thundering ballad. She's a great songwriter too. This is perfect on every level."

It's also being reported that she's currently got her Poker Face ready for Casino Royale...

(Sorry and that's your lot).

  • "Bond bosses are all huge Gaga fans"? Oh. I thought they just picked him because of the column inches. Not referring to his willy-clit - I was referring to the publicity. Still. Could be worse. At least it's not Taylor Swift.

  • Does anyone pay attention to Bond themes anymore? I thought people stopped caring when Madonna did one.

  • I can't wait for the song to hit the charts! I bet the title will be something catchy in true Gaga tradition...something like:

"La la la baah baah" maybe? Or "Umum mum mum tataaaah"?
Or, in keeping with her commitment to constantly explore the boundaries of artistic excellence, could we hope for "Do do do blah blah"?

Oh God!! My nipples are curdling with excitement!! (Well, I hope its excitement, anyway...)

  • Oooh, she's so unfathomably anarchic! It must take tremendous depth of character for someone to challenge social, sexual and sartorial mores the way she does. Either that or she's come off her anti-psychotics.

  • Clearly, although she's dressed like a complete loony, she's obviously missing a gigantic cock so can't be Gaga

When was the last good / memorable Bond theme anyway? Last one I can really remember is Goldeneye. I've seen all of the movies, but that's the last one I could name.
