Great news, people, Lily Allen isn't stepping out of the lime-light after all - quite the contrary...

According to The Sun, she's being filmed for a fly-on-the-wall documentary "charting her journey from pop singer to shopkeeper" - which sound more like a slightly patronising version of Faking It to us.

Apparently a source told the paper:

"Lily was approached about the TV show and thought it would help promote her new ventures as well as letting people get to know her a bit better."

Yes, because she's previously been such a dark-horse.

Anyway, the singer, who has recently been speaking out about how awful it would be if 6 Music got closed down, previously thanked TV license payers for allowing her to be paid 'a lot' of money for for BBC3 chat show Lily Allen And Friends, but there's no word on which channel might have commissioned her again. it couldn't possibly beat this though...
