Lily Allen loses her baby, horrible, sad news

Awful news - Lily Allen has lost her baby after complaining of stomach cramps last week. She was 6 months pregnant.

Lily was admitted to hospital last Thursday and sadly lost her baby over the weekend. This comes just two years after suffering a miscarriage.

 

Her spokeperson said:

"It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby. The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. No further comment will be made".

Horrible, horrible news. Thoughts go to Lily and her partner Sam.

    HM is a celebrity news site. It features news about celebrities. Most of the time, these news items involve the celebrity being a bit of a dick and so disparaging remarks are made. Occasionally, the news items are about incidents such as this, where the celebrity in question does not deserve to be pilloried, as they have done nothing wrong. If you think that HM is solely about celeb-bashing, then it would appear that you have misunderstood the nature of the site. I'm amazed that some of you jumped-up simpletons still don't get that.

    If you think it's hypocritical then, again, that is evidence of your immense stupidity. Is a miscarriage expected to be viewed in the same way as a drunken night out? I would say that different stories elicit different reactions. You seem to think that you're making an astute observation and sticking to some kind of high-minded principle! Seriously...try and think like an adult, ok?
