The 11th Doctor Who, Matt Smith, and his new sidekick, Karen Gillan, made an arresting sight whilst filming the BBC show in Wales yesterday... (Update: arresting Karen Gillan underwear photos are now availabile - photos AND video (well, OK, some of them are of bikinis rather than underwear, but you can't have everything).

Is Doctor Who getting a Hollyoaks make-over? Floppy-haired young-Hugh-Grant-in-the-making Matt Smith and Kevin Bishop Show star Karen Gillan were spotted having a bit of a carry-on while on the set yesterday.... We're not sure about the accuracy of that thigh-skimming cop outfit (although the Time Lord definitely needs arresting for wearing that tie)...

We've seen a few pics of the pair filming scenes, but there's still little info around about the doc's companion, except that she's called Amy Pond, and apparently likes to dress up in uniform (now there's a treat for the fanboys!).

The cameras have been rolling in Cardiff for a couple of months, but we won't see the new cast in action until spring 2010. Plenty of time to get over David Tennant's departure then. Gillan's stockings should help things.

I would also object to being arrested by the young lady.

Her stocking are not standard police issue and her hemline is far too short.

I daresay she is in breach of Section 90 of the Police Act 1996 regarding impersonation of a police officer, but will she be investigated for this?

I would not trust a doctor as young as this. He seems far too young to have finished school and got through college. I would request an older and more experienced GP to see to my ailments.
